Renaissance Senior Living of Hilldale named top commercial project renovation by Associated General Contractors of Wisconsin
(MADISON, Wisc.) — Renaissance Senior Living of Hilldale, a premier assisted living and memory care community located in Madison, was named a 2022 Build Wisconsin award winner for the building renovations provided by Tri-North Builders Inc..
“We are honored to receive this Build Wisconsin award and for the amazing work that Tri-North Builders Inc. provided to Renaissance Senior Living of Hilldale,” said Kim Kay, Executive Director. “The renovation project was developed with our residents' needs as well as dementia research in mind, and we are thankful that the result is one that provides a beautiful and safe home for our residents.”
Renaissance Senior Living of Hilldale redesigned the 75,000-square-foot building into a modern, yet home-like environment for the seniors of Madison. After the extensive renovation, the community displays a state-of-the-art memory care neighborhood that mimics the design and color scheme of the 1950’s. The Assisted Living is home to cozy seating areas, luxurious rooms, and the 10th floor crown room that holds a full service bistro and floor to ceiling windows with views of beautiful Madison.
“The renovation project at Renaissance Senior Living of Hilldale was done with the best interest of our residents and years of research in mind,” said Bryan Cook, COO and President of Legacy Senior Living. “The 1950s era design of the memory care common areas is reminiscent of our residents' younger days. The community gathering areas like the Town Theatre, Town Clinic, and Town Diner were created alongside notable experts in dementia care. We are so proud of the premier assisted living and memory care community that we provide to our residents, their families, and to Madisonians.”
Renaissance Senior Living of Hilldale opened in May 2022 and is a 10-story facility featuring 92 units - 64 designated for assisted living and 28 for memory care - as well as underground parking, a full-service bistro, state-of-the-art media rooms, and picturesque views of the State Capitol and Lake Mendota.
